How to send messages using the Messaging Center | Directors & Inspector
The Messaging Center allows directors and inspectors to communicate in real time through the InspectU website or mobile app. Use this feature to send updates, ask questions, and follow up on inspections or tasks.
Step 1: Open Messages
On the website, click Messages from the left navigation bar.
On the mobile app, tap the message bubble in the upper-right corner.
Step 2: Start a New Message
Click Start a New Message.
Directors can message sites or individual users, while inspectors can message the director directly from the app.
Step 3: Select Recipients
Choose the recipient(s), whether it’s a site (directors only) or a specific user.
Step 4: Compose Your Message
Type your message in the text box.
Step 5: Send and Receive Notifications
Once sent, a chat thread is created and the recipient will receive a notification on their app or dashboard.
