How to Use Notifications and Reminders for Inspections
What Are Notifications and Reminders?
Notifications and reminders in InspectU ensure that everyone involved in inspections is kept up-to-date on upcoming tasks, new inspections, and action items.
Enabling Notifications:
Go to Settings: In your profile settings, navigate to the “Notifications” section.
Choose Notification Preferences: Select the types of notifications you want to receive (e.g., new inspections, updates, completed tasks).
Set Frequency: Choose how often you’d like to receive reminders (immediately, daily, or weekly).
Setting Up Task Reminders:
Assign a Task: After assigning an action item or inspection task, you can set a reminder for the assignee.
Choose Due Dates: Set a reminder for a specific time before the task is due.
Receive Alerts: Both the assignee and the manager will receive reminders at the set times, ensuring the task is completed on time.
