How to Plan and Assign Tasks from the Director Dashboard
This article explains how directors can plan, schedule, and assign tasks from the Director Dashboard. Use this feature to create one-time or recurring tasks and track completion by your team.
Step 1: Open Plan Task
From your Quick Menu, click Plan Task.
Step 2: Access the Task Manager
You will be taken to the Task Manager, where you can also review and approve existing tasks. Click Schedule Task to create a new one.
Step 3: Enter Task Details
Complete all required fields, including the Task Name, Organization, Category, and Instructions. Add items to the To-Do List to outline specific actions, and set a Due Date.
(Optional: Enable recurrence if the task needs to repeat on a set schedule.)
Step 4: Set Task Status
Choose whether the task should be saved as a Draft or immediately Assigned to users.
Step 5: Review and Save the Task
Review all task information for accuracy. Once everything looks correct, save the task to finalize and assign it.
