The Messages page allows you to communicate directly with users or sites within InspectU. It works like a chat system, helping you keep conversations organized and all communication in one place.

Getting There

Click Messages from the left-hand navigation menu to access your conversations.

What You Can Do on the Messages Page

• Start new conversations with users or sites
• Send and receive messages in a chat-style interface
• View and manage all active conversations
• Search for specific conversations or messages
• Reply in real time and keep communication organized

Starting a New Conversation

Click Start New Conversation at the top of the page.

From there, you can:

• Choose to message specific users or entire sites
• Select recipients from the list
• Type your message and send

Once sent, the conversation will appear in your Active Conversations list.

Active Conversations

All ongoing conversations are listed in one place. Each conversation shows:

• Participant name or site
• Date and time of the last message
• Number of messages in the thread

You can use the search bar to quickly find a specific conversation.

Conversation Thread

Click on any conversation to open the full message thread.

• Messages appear in a chat format
• You can view the full message history
• Use the text box at the bottom to reply

All participants in the conversation can see and respond within the same thread.

Managing Conversations

You can delete a conversation if needed. Keep in mind:

• Deleting a conversation permanently removes it
• It will be removed for all participants

Be sure before confirming deletion.

Tips for New Users

• Use Messages instead of email to keep communication centralized
• Double-check recipients before sending messages
• Use search to quickly locate conversations
• Avoid deleting conversations unless necessary
